Getting to the festival
The Rift Valley Festival site is a 2 hour drive from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International airport. The journey is a wonderful welcome to Kenya as the drive takes you out of Nairobi and into the stunning Great Rift Valley.
Those coming direct from the airport can hire a taxi outside arrivals or travel into Nairobi and take a matatu (the local bus services) heading to Naivasha for. A further matatu can then take you on to Fisherman’s Camp around the lake.
